Tax Clinic with Directions
You must bring your SIN (Social Identification Number), any tax forms issued by the government (i.e. T4), any valid receipts, your personal information and your bank information if you wish to receive refunds via direct deposit.
The Accounting Students Education Contribution of the University of Waterloo, in partnership with the CRA, will bring together philanthropy and educational enrichment in a three day event designed to give back to the community of Kitchener Waterloo. From April 1st to April 3rd, 12:00 pm to 10:00 pm, top accounting students of the university will be volunteering their time to prepare free tax returns for low income individuals of the Kitchener Waterloo area. The event will be held in the Multipurpose Room of the Student Life Centre, on the campus of the University of Waterloo. The student life centre is noted "SLC", and is located on G3 of the map. Signs will be posted on all doors of the SLC leading to the Multipurpose Room the day of the event.All student volunteers have been trained under the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program by the Canada Revenue Agency and will complete returns to the best of their ability.
